- About
This track and field facility opened in 1974 to replace Bell Field. It was used for intercollegiate competition until 1988, when the track and field programs were eliminated. It was located on the site of what is now the Hilton Garden Inn and the Softball complex. It was demolished when construction began on the Hilton Garden Inn in about 2001. The pressbox and bleachers were incorporated into OSU’s soccer venue, Lorenz Field.
