A Works Progress Administration project completed in 1938, this second iteration of the dairy barn was built at the same location between 35th and 53rd street as the barn designed by architect John Bennes and his colleagues in 1907. This Dairy Barn burned on February 7, 1967, but the main barn was rebuilt on the same site in 1968.
