Building History

A black and white image of Production Technology Building, now known as Merryfield Hall.

In 1954, a Department of Production Technology was developed as an out-growth of the Industrial Arts manor; the Industrial Arts building was subsequently renamed the Production Technology building, in 1965. A wheelchair ramp was added to the exterior of the building in 1976.

In 1970, the Production Technology academic program was discontinued; the Production Technology building retained its name until 1978, when it was renamed Merryfield Hall.
