Policy and Law Society

Established in 2002, the Policy and Law Society organized to provide students with opportunities to explore natural resources and environmental law and policy issues, and to promote excellence in scholarship, leadership, and service. Model United Nations

Established in 1952, the Model United Nations at Oregon State University formed to educate its members regarding the many aspects of issues related to the United Nations and to provide an avenue through which its members may attend Model United Nations conferences. Formed in 1992, the Pre-Law Club (also known as the Legal Studies Society) organized to promote and enhance the pre-law education opportunities on the Oregon State University campus, to assist and encourage pre-law students on the OSU campus, to provide an opportunity for all members of the OSU community, students, faculty, and staff who are interested in the law, legal studies, to develop relationships and networks with people of similar interests, to recognize outstanding student achievement, and to provide a forum for exchange of information and discussion concerning legal issues, law schools and law school preparation, legal career opportunities, and pre-law opportunities at Oregon State University. Policy Debate Association

Established in 1999, the Policy Debate Association formed as a short-lived organization to provide an opportunity for community members to learn the principles of cross-examination style policy debate.
