The Oregon Forest Science Complex consists of the Peavy Forest Science Center and the A. A. "Red" Emmerson Advanced Wood Products Laboratory, which were completed in 2019 and 2020. The center, along with the adjacent arboretum and Richardson Hall, is home to the College of Forestry and its classroom and research space. The construction of the OFSC went over budget and took longer than anticipated, and there was controversy within the College of Forestry regarding whether the original Peavy Hall should have been remodeled instead.
