OSU Buildings Histories in the Special Collections and Archives Research Center

Building History

The Jefferson Street Building (JSB) was renovated in 2014 as a new office for OSU's Information and Technology department, specifically the Enterprise Computing Services Unit. Updates included upgrading the HVAC and Electrical systems, accessibility, and finishes, and installing a security system. Previously, the building may have been occupied by the U.S. Geological Survey as part of a collaborative research and data collection project with OSU.
