The Hog Barn and Feeding House, built in 1916, was designed by John Bennes. Designed especially for farrowing, it contained 29 pens and featured automatic watering equipment. In addition to two, two-story grain bins, the three-story feeding house, also provided equipment for dividing, weighing, and loading pigs. The barn was located on the site of the current Crop Science Building and was used until a new hog barn was built in 1936/37.
