OSU Buildings Histories in the Special Collections and Archives Research Center

Building History

A color image of the OSU Basketball Center.

The OSU Basketball Center opened in 2013 as an addition to the Sports Performance Center. The Basketball Center features two regulation courts, which occupy the first and third floors of the building. A two-story glass atrium serves as the main entrance and features a basketball hall of fame highlighting the greatest achievements and players of Oregon State's past and present. A mural stretching the height of the atrium celebrates the legacy -- and the student-athletes and coaches -- of Oregon State basketball.
