Built in 2014, this airy 100,000-square-foot building fosters discussion and collaboration, and a 21st century business education. More than 100 donors made five-figure gifts or more, with Ken and Joan Austin and the Al and Pat Reser family providing the lead gifts for this $50 million building. It houses 10 classrooms with a total of 700 seats, plus 23 project rooms all equipped with big screens and other tools to foster collaboration. Austin Hall is also the home to Trader Bing's Cafe, an atrium with sofas, a fireplace and a live feed of the stock market. “Bing’s” is a nod to OSU business alumnus and donor Bernie “Bing” Newcomb, who co-founded E*TRADE.
