OSU's ECC is the university's newest CRC, and is for OSU students who have a cultural or ethnic background in central and southwestern Asia and northern Africa. The term ‘ettihad’ means unity or alliance and its root word has a place in the Farsi, Urdu, Hebrew and Arabic languages.

While this CRC does not currently have a collection, materials have been gathered and added to the OMCRC.

Oregon Multicultural Communities Research Collection (OMCRC)

The OMCRC is an artificial collection containing items of interest about multicultural communities within Oregon State University and to a lesser extent, the city of Corvallis, and the state of Oregon.
