This Guide is intended to help OSU students access most of the features they are used to on Windows/macOS through the Borrowing and Information Desk's Chromebooks or their own Chrome-compatible devices.

Basic functions of Microsoft Office software like Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc. online. The browser based web versions of Skype and Lync are not supported for ONID users, you will have to create your own account to use the web versions or use Skype for Business through Citrix on the Citrix Workspace app with your ONID. A variety of software that is commonly required for coursework and is hosted on a web accessible server. Includes Microsoft Office, Skype for Business, ArcGIS, RStudio, MATLAB, and more... Some apps have limited licenses, so may not be accessible during peak demand. Help Docs
Due to licensing restrictions, Adobe CC software is no longer available in most of the labs on campus. It is available on Citrix for College of Engineering students and It is still available on some of the computers in the Milne 150 and Valley Library Learning Commons computer labs as well as the Student Multimedia Studio in The Valley Library.
Print directly using the print icon from any google apps or upload documents in .pdf through the web portal. Prints can be picked up at various locations around campus. Help Docs
