Graduate Student Commons

The Graduate Student Commons hosts spaces and services to support graduate student success.

The Graduate Student Commons, or Grad Commons, is a place for graduate students on the sixth floor of the Valley Library. It supports student success by providing independent, collaborative and facilitated learning experiences.

As graduate students have unique educational journeys at Oregon State, a prominent and defined space on campus dedicated to all graduate students demonstrates their importance to the institution’s culture and mission.

The Grad Commons is a joint project between the Oregon State University Libraries and Press and the Graduate School.
