A simple way to broadly search for scholarly literature.

There is not a single source to search to for scholarly climatology literature but there are several good cross-disciplinary databases (see below).

You may also want to look at the complete list of databases. Choose Geography from the drop-down menu.

The list includes selected climatology (and related disciplines) journals. These are not necessarily the only journals you will use but if you are having trouble narrowing down a topic or want to see what is in the current literature, these are a good place to start.

Options for getting to the PDF will open in a new window. Sometimes the link will take you to the journal, not the individual article. Use the citation information for the article to get to the right year, volume and issue of the journal.

If the library doesn't have it, request the article for free from Interlibrary Loan. On average, articles arrive digitally within one business day.
