How to Export My Favorites to Excel

OSU Libraries provides a way for you to select more than one saved record and export them to Excel. The information in the export includes the following: Title, Author, Subjects, Genre, Description (if provided within the record), Related Titles, Series, Publisher, Publication Date, Edition, Format, and Permalink (URL to record in 1Search).

  1. Start by locating the 1Search tool on the OSU Libraries homepage. Type a topic or title into the search bar, and click Search.
  2. Once you are in 1Search, click on the Login button. You must be logged in to 1Search to see your saved items.
  3. Once logged in, select the pushpin icon my favorites push pin icon on the upper right-hand side of the page next to the "Your Account" button.
  4. There are two ways you can select multiple items:
    • One way is to click on the checkbox that appears in each item of the saved records list.
    • The other way is to select the checkbox that appears above the entire saved records list; this allows you to select all the items on the page.

5. Click the ellipses (...) at the top of the page in order to see a variety of options on how to interact with your selected resources. In this case, we will select the Export to Excel feature.

6. After you select Export to Excel, you will need to select a file type. The two options are .xlsx and .csv.

7. When you have selected a file format, you will click on the download button.
