Finding USGS publications

Some records for the older USGS publications are not fully catalogued.

To find USGS publications, try:USGS document cover

  • Searching the library catalog for the unique title of the report
  • Searching for the series title and looking for the number you need
  • USGS Publications Warehouse to see if it's online

Below are links to some of the more common USGS publication series in the library catalog and the call number for the print (or microform) editions.

The issues from these publications will likely be in several locations, including the stacks, compact shelving, microfilm or microfiche, and storage.
