Your OSU-provided access to FT.com is available from any location, on or off campus, and through mobile device apps, once you complete the OSU Account Registration process described below.

Getting Started/Activating your Account

To activate your access to Financial Times

Access this registration site

  • You will be prompted to login with your OSU ONID account.
  • Then you will need to complete the Join your FT.com subscription form and the FT.com Setup Your Profile pages.

About the Join your FT.com subscription form

  • You will need to provide your OSU email address on the form
  • An accurate selection for the Occupation selection is appreciated
    • Students - please enter an estimated graduation date
  • You may enter your phone number as 000-000-0000
  • Confirm Yes or No for each of the Notification selections in the Stay up to date section

About the Setup Your Profile pages

You are not obligated to Setup Your Profile, but you should click-through the setup process with either the Skip Question link or the Next button to ensure your account setup is complete.

Congratulations!

Now that your account is activated, you can login directly through FT.com or in the mobile app, as described below.

Accessing the Financial Times

Once you complete the OSU Account Registration, you can access the Financial Times from any device whether you are on-campus or off-campus.

  1. Go to FT.com and click the Sign In link at the top of the page.
  2. At the Sign In page, enter your OSU email address, then click Next.
  3. You should be taken to a version of the Sign In page that lists Oregon State University and mentions Single Sign-On.
  4. Click the SSO Sign in button.
  5. You will either be provided with OSU's ONID login window, unless you have already logged into ONID recently.
  6. That's it! You should now be logged in to Financial Times Online.
