Medline (EBSCOhost)
An extensive collection of research article records focused on biomedical science. Article records are enhanced with Medical Subject Headings (MeSH terms). Records represent about 40 languages. This is the subscription version of the database. Dates: 1950 - present

An extensive collection of research article records and some online book records covering biomedical science (MEDLINE), and related life sciences, behavioral sciences, chemical sciences, and bioengineering topics. MEDLINE records are enhanced with Medical Subject Headings (MeSH terms). Search access to the database is free to all (no OSU affiliation required), and some records include links to free full-text. Records represent about 40 languages.

Agricultural & Environmental Science Database (ProQuest)
Scholarly literature on environmental science topics from disciplines such as atmospheric science, biology, biotechnology, ecology, engineering, and microbiology; as well as agricultural research topics including agricultural economics, animal and veterinary sciences, aquaculture and fisheries, farming and farming systems, food and human nutrition, forestry, and plant sciences. It includes U.S. government environmental impact statements.
Aquatic Sciences & Fisheries Abstracts (ProQuest)
Journal articles, government reports, books, dissertations and conference papers covering all biology, ecology, technology and management of marine, freshwater, and brackish water environments and organisms.

Plant & Soil Databases

Agricultural & Environmental Science Database (ProQuest)
Scholarly literature on environmental science topics from disciplines such as atmospheric science, biology, biotechnology, ecology, engineering, and microbiology; as well as agricultural research topics including agricultural economics, animal and veterinary sciences, aquaculture and fisheries, farming and farming systems, food and human nutrition, forestry, and plant sciences. CAB Abstracts
Includes journal articles, conference proceedings and selected books from US and international agricultural literature. Topics include veterinary medicine, human and animal nutrition, forestry, rural development, as well as other related areas such as tourism and human ecology.
AGRICOLA (EBSCOhost)
Coverage dates back to 1970 and includes journal articles, books, theses, patents, software, audiovisual materials, and technical reports related to agriculture.

Bioengineering Databases

Compendex (Engineering Village)
Due to low usage and budget limitations, it was decided to cancel this resource after May, 2025.
Database covers all areas of engineering including: acoustical; aerospace; automotive; biological; chemical; civil; computer; electrical; electronic; energy;environmental; geologic; mechanical; metallurgical; mining; and robotics.
CAB Abstracts
Includes journal articles, conference proceedings and selected books from US and international agricultural literature. Topics include veterinary medicine, human and animal nutrition, forestry, rural development, as well as other related areas such as tourism and human ecology.

Searching can be done in English, French, German, Portuguese, and Spanish. Dates: 1887 - present
