Crafternoons are a time to take a break from studying, make a craft, and meet new people. Crafternoons happen on the odd number weeks of term on Thursdays, 4:00-6:00pm. Please see the schedule below.

Crafternoons happen on the main floor of The Valley Library in the Kow Lounge, straight ahead from the main entrance.                                       

Accommodation requests related to a disability for events at the Valley Library should be made at least a week in advance to Angela Haney.

Week 1: October 3, 2024 - DIY stationery and Dear Stranger project

Week 3: October 17, 2024 - Add Glitter to the Archives! A Crafternoon with the OSU Queer Archives ~ Join us in using (copies of) archival materials from the OSU Queer Archives (OSQA) for crafting projects! Participants will have the opportunity to donate their craft or a photograph of their craft creation(s) to OSQA if they would like to do so.

Week 5: October 31, 2024 - Halloween crafts

Week 5: November 1, 2024 - Crafternight - glow in the dark ornaments 7:00-9:00pm

Week 7: November 14, 2024 - yarn ornaments and fiber crafts

Week 9: November 28, 2024 - Thanksgiving Break - No Crafternoon

Finals Week: December 9-13, 2024 - Take and Make Kits available during finals week
