OSU Pride Center

Among many other things, the Pride Center provides programs and support services for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, questioning, intersex, and asexual members of the OSU community and their allies (LGBTQQIAA). The Pride Center is a safe space to explore aspects of sexual orientation and gender identity in an open and non-judgmental atmosphere.

Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS): LGBTQAA

CAPS provides drop-in support group services for OSU's queer community. These groups include: Asexual, aromantic and questioning, ace/aro support group, gay men's drop in support group, queer people of color support group, and a gender spectrum support group.

Queer Studies at OSU

Queer Studies is an interdisciplinary field that examines how gender, sexuality and ideas of "normal" work together with race, ethnicity, nationality, class, disability, age and religion to create social categories that result in structural, institutional, and ideological discrimination - and further imagines and works towards social justice for all people. An undergraduate minor in Queer Studies as well as graduate minors at the Master's and PhD levels are offered. Additionally, Queer Studies is a  participating program in the Master's of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies (M.A.I.S.). Queer STudies isn't just for peopel who identify as Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, Transgender, or Queer. Queer Studies is for all those who want to work for social transformation at all levels.

SOL: LGBTQ+ Multicultural Support Network

SOL is an organization that focuses on Queer and Trans People of Color (QTPOC) while providing support through educational programming, student advocacy, and ally building among undergraduate and graduate students, faculty, staff and other organizations at Oregon State University.

OSU Student Health Services: Transgender Care

Multi-disciplinary care, centered on our transgender students. SHS is committed to providing holistic care to meet the needs of all students while striving to reduce health inequities. SHS works closely with colleagues in Counseling and Psychological Services to provide multi-disciplinary care that is centered on the complex needs of OSU's transgender students.

National Resources

American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) LGBT Rights

The ACLU works to ensure that lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender people can live openly without discrimination and enjoy equal rights, personal autonomy, and freedom of expression and association.

Human Rights Campaign (HRC)

As the largest lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer civil rights organization, the HRC envisions a world where LGBTQ people are ensured of their basic equal rights and can be open, honest, and safe at home, at work, and in the community.

The Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender Community Center

New York City's Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender Community Center empowers people to lead healthy successful lives. The Center works to celebrate their diverse community and advocates for justice and opportunity.

Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender National Help Center

Since 1996, the LGBT National Help Center has provided free vital peer-support, local and national resource information, and supportive community connections to people who have questions about sexual orientation and/or gender identity.

National LGBTQ Task Force

The National LGBTQ Task Force advances full freedom, justice, and equality for LGBTQ people. By training and mobilizing millions of activists across the U.S, they are working towards building a future where everyone can be free to be their entire selves in every aspect of their lives. The Portland Q Center

As the largest LGBTQ+ community center in the Pacific Northwest, Q Center proudly serves the LGBTQ2SIA+ communities of Portland Metro and Southwest Washington. Their mission is to provide safe spaces, community building, and empowerment for positive transformation of LGBTQ2SIA+.

Trans Lifeline

Trans Lifeline is a trans-led organization that connects trans people to the community, support, and resources they need to survive and thrive.

The Transgender Law Center

Transgender Law Center is the largest national trans-led organization advocating self-determination for all people. Grounded in legal expertise and committed to racial justice, they employ a variety of community-driven strategies to keep transgender and gender nonconforming people alive, thriving, and fighting for liberation.

The Trevor Project

The Trevor Project is the leading national organization providing crisis intervention and suicide prevention services to lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer & questioning (LGBTQ) young people under 25.
