Open Educational Resources

Suggestions on how and where to find educational resources for students that are freely available

Textbooks

Remember, you don't have to use the whole book. You can pick and choose chapters from several different books and make your own custom version that's free.

Or consider writing your own textbook. Contact OSU's Open Educational Resources Unit.

Multimedia and Images

Many museums have started to make their images available online under an open license. For some examples, see the Digital Resources Guide.

And don't forget our very own OSUL&P Special Collections and Archives.
