Active Learning in Higher Education is an international, refereed publication for all those who teach and support learning in higher education and those who undertake or use research into effective learning, teaching and assessment in universities and colleges. The journal has an objective of improving the status of teaching and learning support as professional activity and so looks at academic theory and practice applicable in/to all disciplines and contexts/countries in higher education.

Adult Learning is an important voice in the scholarship of adult learning and teaching. As a practitioner-oriented journal, it is committed to advancing the practice of adult education through innovative articles with a problem-solving emphasis. Published articles address the most current challenges in educating adults across various contexts including higher education.

Assessment & Evaluation in Higher Education is an established international peer-reviewed journal which publishes papers and reports on all aspects of assessment and evaluation within higher education. Its purpose is to advance understanding of assessment and evaluation practices and processes, particularly the contribution that these make to student learning and to course, staff and institutional development.

The Community College Journal of Research and Practice (CCJRP) is a peer-review journal that promotes and disseminates an increased awareness of community college issues. The CCJRP, a multidisciplinary forum for researchers and practitioners in higher education, aims to increase awareness and address all aspects of the study of community college issues through research, empirically tested educational innovations, and scholarly discussions.

Innovative Higher Education features research on current innovations and provocative new ideas with relevance for action for higher education institutions, including innovations at the organization and policy level as well as innovations that improve diversity, equity, and inclusion in higher education. We also focus on innovative approaches to teaching and learning and the potential influence of such innovations on students and faculty.

The Journal of Applied Educational and Policy Research (JAEPR) is a peer-reviewed, scholarly, open-access journal of the Center for Educational Measurement and Evaluation at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. JAEPR accepts manuscripts of original research, application of educational research methodology, and commentaries on policy analysis. Articles for the Research section report the results of empirical studies that focus on relevant educational policy-related topics.
