Kanopy is a streaming video database that contains fiction, documentaries, and teaching demonstrations.

It includes material from producers including the Criterion Collection, The Great Courses, New Day Films, HBO California Newsreel, Kino Lorber, PBS, BBC, First Run Features, The Video Project, Media Education Foundation, and Documentary Education Resources. OSU's subscription provides some titles that are immediately available and some that have mediated access.

Kanopy materials are also available through the Kanopy app and on smart TVs.

Teaching Channel is a thriving online community where teachers can watch and share diverse techniques to help students grow.

The Academic Video Online (AVON) collection from Alexander Street Press contains over 68,000 streaming videos on a variety of subjects ranging from arts, education, travel, and STEM topics. Users can also find and view documentaries, news programs, short clips, feature films, from popular producers such as BBC, A&E, PBS, American Academy of Pediatrics, and 60 Minutes. All AVON videos are closed captioned and many have transcripts that come in multiple languages.
