Photo Elicitation Studies provide visual, self-reported insights into users behaviors and priorities.  For our Valley Library study this spring, our OSU students can share their favorite study spots on our social media or submit through an online form. We are looking for photos from around campus of ideal study spots to help us glean insight into behaviors related to spaces and furniture or tools needed for our refresh this next year of the Valley Library's Learning Commons (main floor). We will host a Snaps & Snacks event  on May 3rd 2024 for those who submitted photos to drop by and share more, see other photos and get some thank you snacks!  We plan to keep the photos submitted for the next year. By submitting a photo you are agreeing to the OSU model release and use of the possibly reposting your photo on social media.   

Simply put -   we want you, students of OSU, to share photos of your favorite spots around campus to study or meet up for academic purposes including breaks. 

HOW do I participate?

• Keep an eye on our social media for an easy way to share @valleylibrary your fav study pic!
• Thursday 4/4/24 we will host a Tiny Cafe station on the main floor "Polaroid Edition" at 4pm. Stop by to borrow our camera for a minute and take a snap in the area of your fav spot to share with us.     
• if you want to share a few photos --  see photo prompts below  - and fill out our submission form
  • You can submit up to 10 photos 
  • Share the type of spot this photo represents, and why you liked this particular spot.
  • To use the form you must be an OSU student and we ask for your contact information so we can reach out if more information on the photos is needed.
