About this LibGuide

This LibGuide has been created to assist students, faculty, and scholars looking for research by and about Black trans* people. This is not an exhaustive resource, however it is an excellent starting place for learning more about Black trans* experiences. In order to have a diverse set of resources, we (the designers of this LibGuide) wanted to include scholarly materials, journal articles, poetry books, fiction, music, podcasts, and archives to demonstrate the brilliance and depth of Black trans* experiences and perspectives. We hope that you learn and are moved by these resources.
