• Learn about the suite of resources and services offered by OSU Libraries, from interlibrary loan to databases to thesis submissions. Staff from several departments will be available to provide input and answer your questions.

Data Management - Smart from the Start - 10:00 - 10:50 a.m. in person; 2:00 - 2:50 p.m. via Zoom

• Learn to manage your data effectively and efficiently from day one. This seminar will provide an introduction to capturing, storing, and describing research data throughout the life of the research project and after. What is a data management plan? Where should you keep your data? How can you keep it safe? How should you organize it? What should you do with your data at the end of your project? Come and learn about all the resources at OSU that will help you with these tasks.

Advanced Library Database Skills for Advanced Users - 11:00 - 11:50 a.m. in person; 3:00 pm - 3:50 pm via Zoom

• Wondering where to get started with all the databases on the library's website?  Want to know which databases to try for your subject area?  Come explore the research options that will work best for you.  Learn to use a source you already have to find additional useful sources by citation searching, learn how to use the databases' subject headings and how to search for particular document types, such as literature reviews.

Tour of the Grad Student Commons - 12:00 - 1:00 p.m., in person

Take a tour of the Grad Student Commons, located on the 6th floor of the Valley Library. Learn about resources and spaces available to you there. Tours will be available between 12:00 and 1:00 p.m. but will not last the full hour. Feel free to drop by any time during that hour.
