What is Speed Friending? Speed Friending for book lovers - A great way to make friends

Speed-Friending for book lovers is a Valley Library in-person event where individuals are paired for short periods of time (about 5 minutes) in a round-robin fashion. During these short intervals, each pair will get the opportunity to talk about their favorite books, answer some questions, make connections, and possibly spark new friendships based on a love of books (we use the term "books" broadly to encompass audiobooks, graphic novels, stories, etc).

Registration

Registration is required and seating is limited to 40. The room location will be sent to you with your registration confirmation. If registration is full you can be placed on the waiting list.

Date: Thursday, March 9, 6 - 8 pm.

Please arrive at 6 pm. Pizza and drinks will be provided. This event is open to all Oregon State University Students and is sponsored by the OSU Libraries and the School of Writing, Literature, and Film.
