Below is a list of celebrations taking place in Oregon, and across the country, for Juneteenth. Some are virtual and include a variety of performances such as music, poetry, storytelling and dance.

Event at OSU

Oregon State University recognizes June 19th, Juneteenth, as a Holiday.

Juneteenth Oregon

  • Founded by community leader Clara Peoples, initiating the first Juneteenth celebration in Oregon in 1945 with Portland's first annual celebration in 1972. This celebration features a variety of local musical artists and special guests.
