Wednesday, November 1, 6PM, Memorial Union -- "A Dream Deferred" will consist of several guest speakers, tables with information on how to take action (held by local organizations), and a panel that will be moderated by the Memorial Union President, Angel Mandujano-Guevara. The event is designed to delineate what DACA is and is not, deconstructing mythology around the topic, provide testimonies from various perspectives and experiences (institutional, student, legal, and local organizational), and hope to mobilize students, faculty members, and affiliates to support and advocate for DACA recipients.

Tuesday, November 7 @ 6:30 -8:00pm in the Asian and Pacific Islander Cultural Center -- Define American with Jose Antonio Vargas. Interested in leading the conversation on immigrants and identity at OSU? Come hear from one of the most well-known undocumented immigrants about starting a Define American Chapter at OSU. Define American is a non-profit media and culture organization that uses the power of story to transcend politics and shift the conversation about immigrants, identity, and citizenship in a changing America. please RSVP here if you plan to attend.
