GRAD 571/572: Translating Research to Innovation

Lens of the Market Stage 1: Useful Library resources to aid in research

Databases

Set Up Your Google Scholar Preferences

You can set up Google Scholar so it will search in OSU's databases for your article.

Step 1:  To make Google Scholar talk to the OSU Libraries collection, go to the Settings link, located in the menu on the far left of the page:

Step 2:  On the left-hand side of the Scholar Settings page, choose Library links

Step 3:  Next search for Oregon State University in the search box

Step 4:  Finally, check the box next to Oregon State University Libraries and Press - Find it @ OSU and Save

Once this is set up, you will see "Find it @ OSU" link on the right side of your results pages. Click that, and you'll be prompted to log in to your OSU account and given access to the resource just like you searched for it in one of our databases!

NOTE: If Google Scholar does not find the article in our databases, you may request the article through our Interlibrary Loan (ILL) service, free of charge. See http://osulibrary.oregonstate.edu/ill for details.
