Resources for Visiting High School Classes

Accessing Online Articles

As part of our service to the citizens of Oregon, we welcome researchers into the building to access our article databases and collections.

Off-campus access to these resources is limited to OSU students, faculty and staff (with ONID accounts).

To make sure that you get the most out of your visit to OSU:

  • Email relevant articles to yourself or save them to a USB drive (ask at the Reference Desk if you do not know how to do this).
  • If you use the built-in email function in the library databases, make sure that the full text of the article is attached before you send the email.
  • If you cannot attach the full-text using the built-in functions, save it to a jump drive, or attach it manually to your web-based email.
  • If you have any questions, ask at the Reference Desk for help.
