Combining Keywords or Phrases

Once you have identified a few keywords (or key phrases) for your topic, you can combine them for an effective search in 1Search (and other search tools). Below are some tips for combing keywords and phrases in 1Search.

  • When using key phrases in your search, enter the phrases with quotation marks ("  ") so that the terms in the phrase show up in your search results exactly as you entered them. An example of a key phrase in quotes is "unsustainable development".
