Getting your hands on a book
If you are an extended campus student or at the HMSC or Bend, use the "REQUEST" button in the catalog.
If the book you want is checked out or you don't find it in your catalog search, use the "Try Summit Libraries" button and see if it's available at one of our partner libraries in Oregon, Washington or Idaho.
If you choose to begin in the Summit catalog, click on the line that tells you how many libraries have the book. If OSU doesn't have it, or our copy is checked out, click on "Request Summit Item"
You will be asked which library you are at (select Oregon State University)
You will be asked for your last name and OSU ID number
Finally you will be asked for a "pick up location" -- if you are an Extended campus student who is not also located in Corvallis, Newport, or Bend, select "OSU - Extended campus" so it can be sent on to you.
If you have questions about a request, contact email@example.com.
