The Valley Library building will be open by reservation only. Reservations can be made in advance online, or when you arrive at the library. Please wear your face covering and follow the signs related to physical distancing.
What to know about reservations
- Reservations are for quiet, single person seats at a computer workstation.
- Computers can be reserved for a minimum of 30 minutes up to two hours.
- Computer reservations begin either at the top of the hour or on the half hour.
- You can make one advanced reservation per day, at least 12 hours in advance.
What to expect when you arrive at the library
- When you arrive at the main doors of the Valley library, you will be greeted by a staff member who will check you in if you have an advance reservation or create a reservation for you.
- You will be required to wear a face covering and follow all signage related to physical distancing, in accordance with OSU policies.
- A staff member will either escort you to your seat, or show you the way on a map.
- Each computer or seat has a sign identifying the seat number and a corresponding QR code.
- Each computer or seat has a stand with flip-able notices showing whether the seat is available, needs cleaning, or if the occupant will be coming back soon.
- We are not allowing food in the library at this time. While the water fountains are covered, the water bottle refill stations are available.
