Jose Antonio Vargas, who is a Dreamer and who founded Define American will be speaking at the University of Oregon in Eugene as the 2017-18 Wayne Morse Chair of Law and Politics.

Wednesday, November 1, 6PM, Memorial Union -- "A Dream Deferred" will consist of several guest speakers, tables with information on how to take action (held by local organizations), and a panel that will be moderated by the Memorial Union President, Angel Mandujano-Guevara. The event is designed to delineate what DACA is and is not, deconstructing mythology around the topic, provide testimonies from various perspectives and experiences (institutional, student, legal, and local organizational), and hope to mobilize students, faculty members, and affiliates to support and advocate for DACA recipients.
