Most ebooks can be read online without any additional software. However, if you want to print or read the book offline, you'll need to download it to Adobe Digital Editions.
Your borrowed ebook will be available through ADE for the specific loan period. You need to set up ADE on your personal computer. You cannot use a public computer for this since the ADE software is licensed to you individually.
If you install ADE on multiple devices, you can sync your ebooks between those devices.
1. Download Adobe Digital Editions
2. Set up account. Write down your User Name and Password. You'll need it to access the book offline.
Most ebooks vendors also require you to set up a user name and password. There are a number of ebook vendors (EBL, ProQuest ebrary, EBSCO etc.) and you will need to set up a user name and password for each one. Make sure you keep track of these as you'll need them to read ebooks offline.
