New Grad Student Orientation Recording Links

Click on the links for recordings of the 2016 New Graduate Student Orientation Workshops. Just a note - in order to get the recordings out quickly, they have not been edited. This means that sometimes there are gaps before the beginning of a workshop. When that happens, click or drag the forward button to get to the beginning of the workshop content.

Also, several workshops were recorded together in a block. The last workshops in the block did not have audio enabled, so only the slides can be viewed. I will try and record higher quality versions of those workshops the next time these workshops are offered.

Literature Review Handouts

Can't attend in person?  Walk through the online version of the workshop.

Another way to learn more about the literature review process is to watch this tutorial created by librarians at North Carolina State University:  http://www.lib.ncsu.edu/tutorials/lit-review/

Also there are e-books available through the library on the Literature Review Process:

The following are the handouts and some tips talked about in the Literature Review workshop.
